It’s been almost three weeks since I returned from my four week jaunt around the USA, Mexico and Cuba. In truth though, calling it a mere jaunt really doesn’t do it any justice, maybe dream adventure is a more accurate. Either way, it certainly gave me some memories that I will cherish forever.

I had always planned on doing a trip like this at some point, road-tripping North America with a couple of mates, getting into all sorts of mischief. As it turned out, two of my oldest friends had been planning a trip doing almost exactly that. Unfortunately though, it looked like I was not going to be able to join them as I had other commitments in my life that took higher priority. I’ve said it before though, life is a strange creature and it seems to always have this way of taking sudden turns when you least expect it. So all of a sudden I found myself in a position where I could feasible join them for what would turn out to be an adventure of a lifetime.

Out travels took us through eight amazing cities during our adventures and I’ll be featuring highlights from each of them between now and the new year. So please stay tuned as next week I’ll bring you some snapshots from our road trip to Las Vegas via Yosemite National Park and Death Valley!
